  KBArchitecting®
KBArchitecting® (Knowledge Based Architecting) is a new full life cycle systems engineering paradigm based on decisions that are made in the operational context. This paradigm addresses problems, such as schedule and cost overruns, typically seen in the development of large scale software intensive systems. Traditional engineering approaches do not effectively capture user requirements and do not effectively analyze the interactions between the many data and context sensitive system components.

KBArchitecting® uses decisions to create decision objects and creates criteria to evaluate decision outcomes. The interaction between decision objects are analyzed using CASSim™, an advanced simulation capability, developed by Dr. John Clymer. This simulation capability uses AI and reinforcement learning techniques to define a set of rules for an optimized agent-based event driven system.
KBArchitecting® uses KBSage™ as an integral part of engineering to estimate schedules, resources, cost, and risk associated with the software development. CASSim™ and KBSage™ are executed iteratively until all program and technical constraints are satisfied.
